I have a Rebel XT right now. Is this camera a lot better than the Revel XT and worth upgrading to it?

Can some please tell me why I should buy the Canon EOS 450D instead of Nikon D60 ...Canon standard kit lenses tend to to be very good. You must always buy separate lens to see the real quality - pushing up price.Nikon tend to have better standard kit lenses. Thanks

i got this camera, and found that what you really need to take sharp pics, is a good lens, i got 18-55 with it and i was not really convinced with pics, till i got canon 70-400 that is different history

I have the Canon XTI, and I'll admit in an all out photo competition the person versed in using the XSI will steal the show hands down. But only because of the added features. I'm not sold on the XSI yet, the capabilities are what look to me like cheating tactics. Freezing the photo and doctoring it before you take the shot??? Come on! How can you be proud of a shot when you took it to photoshop prior to snapping the picture?

It's my 1st DSLR, but I love it over my A95. I recently stopped using AUTO and now using Program mode. I love having control even though it's not much in "P" mode. I will continue to shoot, shoot, and shoot some more.... |
