Weird... I have all the episodes on DVD and a clip of this cartoon was definitely on one of the episodes -- in the first season. I think you should watch some of the episodes :) Also, didn't even notice the description, I feel silly for saying it now -- teaches me to ignore descs. It's weird how I always seem to get comments from you all over the place... almost like you're following me! ;P

Actually, it wasn't shown in Pee-wee's playhouse, but the Pee Wee Herman show, as the description here reads. That was the stage show that existed before the series :) :) :)

This was one of the cartoons shown in an episode of pee-wee's playhouse, I was watching that today and saw this, had to find the entire cartoon as I love balloons :)

Besides, if he really wanted to get into Balloon Land, why couldn't he just pop the balloon gates and houses? And why would that DUMB-ASS brown balloon let him in the gates. I mean... HE'S THE PIN-CUSHION MAN AND HE'S GOT A LONG SHARP PIN AND HE WONT HESITATE TO POP YOUR ASS!!!!!!!!"
