Beethoven was the first rocker! As a former classically trained musician, and later backup for rock and roll, beethoven would be a rocker if he was alive today. Beethoven rocks!

You've been listening to Don Kirschner too much while he tries to sell you the Midnight Special DVDs. I have the DVD set and believe me, there's lots of lip syncing on it. I haven't watched the whole set, but from what I've seen about 50% is lip-sync. Are you sure Lynne is live? It sounds waaaay too loud, smooth, and studio. Actually he couldn't be singing live if the music is not because he's got a drummer banging away behind him and a violin sawing away. That would bleed into his mic.

The 1812 Overture, I believe, was written for the War of 1812. Since Tchaikovsky was born after that war, it would be easy for him to write this piece of music. Now had he been born before 1812, there would be a problem...

If Tchaikovsky was born in 1840, how could he have written the 1812 Overture ;)) |
