Umm common sense would seem to indicate, in this case, that you believe whatever historical fairytale you are fed or suits your purpose. A flat earth is not common sense to me and was not to many and the most ancient cultures of the world. As for slaves and stoning both are to my common sense absolutely unconscionable at all times at all places and have nothing to do with me. Where do they fit in?

Sorry i did not mention this "bearded guy" you are creating a false choice to strengthen your position. Why do you need to do this? You have me in the wrong pigeon hole. Maybe it is you that believes silly things!

Hmm, and the idea that a jolly bearded guy, sitting on a cloud made it all IS common sense?

"viable and functional at each stage, is a flagrant abuse of common sense."Common sense said the world was flat once, common sense said that you can stone your children or sell them as slaves. Common sense isn't getting us very far when trying to understand these things.amazing video

Look at the video again without prejudice, study again without prejudice how the DNA is packed in the cell, and take into account the necessary degree of specificity in proteins and apply some high school math and you will see there is a problem!

The idea that this is the product of an undirected material process built up in small steps, viable and functional at each stage, is a flagrant abuse of common sense.

In science we must start with a working model and theory. From there we can work to confirm or debunk it. |
