I don't think he'd be laughed at...I think he'd be welcomed with open arms as a refreshing artist who is not only amazing to listen to but to watch too. Mika's just as camp, more outrageous but not half as interesting to watch. I love Bolan, I just wish I was born to have been able to see him live in concert.

He wasn't ahead of his time, he was OF his time. Imagine Marc Bolan being around today? He would probably be seen as too camp and laughed at. Mind you, some people laughed back then too! I love the man and his music - so simple, catchy as hell and 'Hot Love' reminds me of being in my bedroom playing it over and over. Great b-side songs too.

you shouldntthink like, that marc bolan set the pace for many people he was gorgeous and his music was the best he was the master of the music we have today x

His name is Mickey Finn [occasionally Micky Finn] - he was the percussionist and sideman to Marc Bolan in his band T.Rex.
