Telltale Games does seem to be making some good games, I've recently played through season 1 of S&M. Personally, it catches the spirit of the comics more than the original S&M did, but I don't think Telltale will really hit the big time until they manage to start releasing whole games instead of restricting themselves to episodic content.

Well slow down there pal. I happened to like Lego Star Wars. It was actually good, and from what I've heard so is Lego Indiana Jones. But yeah, Lucasarts should have never turned away from making adventure games. And the point-and-click adventure genre is still alive (albeit not quite as strong). Telltale Games looks like the genres best hope. They were going to making Sam and Max 2. Now they... make even more Sam and Max and SBCG4CP.

Sorry. They are not even good at making Star War games which they do instead of other things.

Not only is it that they just make starwars stuff, but the fact that they make "Lego Star Wars," and what's worse, "Lego Indiana Jones." Why the hell don't people realize it's just marketing? What happened to the good old Lucasarts that made the great games like "Last Crusade, Fate of Atlantis, Grim Fandango, etc? You'd think they'd realize that there's still a huge audience that likes those games. Chances are, if they made Sam and Max 2, it would have brought adventure gaming back. |
