English is predominantly spoken, especially in everyday speech. But most people have a pretty good level of Irish too. The reason the couriers are speaking in Irish to the camera is because this documentary was made by an Irish language television station.

I was a bicycle/motorcycle courier in Dublin for 4 years in the mid/late 90's...fairly memorable time for me...never a dull moment!

...this is not an accurate representation of dublin traffic..dublin has one of the worst rush hours in the western world..I knew a courier who preffered los angeles traffic to dublin traffic!

nice to see other bike messengers in the other parts of the country...BUT !!!! nothing beats the personality of a NU Yawker and a LA bike messenger...they rock w/ their fixies...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
