Are you kidding? At most it wold extend the life of the brain by maybe a few years, no more than 5-10. Brain tissue gets old and dies just like body tissue. There's no such thing as immortality unless you can fix the deterioration of the chromosome caps, and therefore eliminate aging, which would lead inevitably to an overpopulated, crowded, and self-destructive planet.
