That statement is incredibly inaccurate. The Japanese government does not fund its movies. It's all a matter of a few people and their resources, if they're lucky. Don't talk about this if you don't understand it.

IdiotFIRSTLYi never said japan i said the FILM the film didnt have the a amazing budget and most of it was not on CGI.2nd For you info japans films (to which i know i great deal on the subject) do not sadly have the same amount of money as hollywood but some films do just not death note on CGITHRIDI didnt say anything about the us doing it.And dont try to tell me about animation i have done minor work on them myselfWhy dont you think before you talk smartass.

....think before u say something....this is film in japan ...the land of tomorrow... so plz do not say they don't have enough money for this...because if american did this it would look more computerized(and will look less interesting) the real-looking life one thing looks more interesting...so...now ... i have no hell'in idea what i'm talking about..right now...

Sort of yeah but Ryuk told light that he could get rid of it and that he would kill him right at the start.But lets not forget he did trick the Grim Reaper into getting a second death note.
