great tv spot. gene grooves really hard, hampton is the perfect drum showman, and i like how compact and precise chico's solo is, gotta love drummers who build mini-songs in their solos. great drumming all around.

Perhaps because Gene Krupa was also a movie star? Or maybe they credited him with changing the role of the drummer from background to a solo instrument? |
