65 million years ago a meteor impacted earth in an area now known as Puerto Chicxilub, Mexico. This meteor turned over an ancient marine reef full of calcium rich corals and shellfish. Some eventually turned into limestone. In this cave remnants of this reef is still evident.

Crocodiles ? As in live Crocodiles ? Not that I've seen. There are several piles of bones and I'm uninformed as to what species they are.
