montrose counts as real rock, right?. I never really go into sub-genres, accept things like blues rock

There have been at least 20 musicians who've played in various lineups of Foghat & for 3 years(1990-1993)there were two Foghats: Roger Earl led a version of the band and Lonesome Dave had his own version as well. The current singer, Charlie Huhn, does real justice to Dave's vocals and puts on a great show, and guitarist Bryan Bassett is a superb slide player. Rock on!

I remember seeing Foghat for the first time in about 1971, maybe '72. It's hard for me to imagine them touring with Roger Earle as the only original member (Rod Price and Dave Peverett are both dead) but i heard that "Foghat Live II" is actually a pretty good record.

Yea I've discovered T.Rex not long after I found an interest in real rock through Foghat. Bang a Gong is great so are so many of their other songs like 20th Century Boy, Children of The Revolution Ride a White Swan, Hot Love, too many more to list...T.Rex are definitely one of the best glam rock acts undoubtedly up there with Queen and Bowie.I must have just about every great 70's band on my ipod now but I'm always discovering some more great ones recently Humble Pie and the Sweet
