Hi,I'm looking for a new amp and this one seems nice. i'd like to buy one but I don't know if it is the best choice. Is this a good amp for metalcore or I should choose another one ?Do you have any other suggestions ?Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the stock speakers are 16 OHMS each wired in parallel. So the impedance switch should be set at 8 OHMS. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

i also have an epiphone les paul studio alpine and its great but i wish i had better pick ups i was thinking maybe Gibson Burstbuker pros or just reble neck pickup. but does it really make that great gibson sound?

The speaker change to some good Celestions like that will give you better clarity and extended low end, as well as some good midrange growl. I tried changing tubes and I don't think it made much difference at all.

Thanks! I buy and sell stuff all the time. So I don't have a lot of this stuff anymore. I've been playing since 1980 when I was 12 years old.

xD righto. Still you got a lot of gear in all your vids. Is everything yours or do you use friends stuff too? Your a pretty great player too imo. How long have you been playing to get that good?

Ha! That's a really good question! I don't know. I finally sold the Peavey and now I only use my Marshall. : )

Why would you bother get a peavey to make it sound like a marshall T_T |
