I agree I heard the similarities to "Father and Son." However, I thought it was on purpose because the lyric has a similar theme of a young person struggling to figure out life. Except here we have a guy struggling against his own philosophy instead of his father's.

the chord progression is barely anything like father and son.....the tempo is about 40 bpm quicker....and cat plays acoustic with no sound effects at all....the aren't very comparable at all! ALL HAIL THE LIPS!!! Can't wait to see you guys at Summer Camp 08' !!!!
