another reason they use fibreglass bodies is because these days they do a lot of racing with the trucks, so they gotta cut down on the weight

They use fiberglass because it is light so the center of the overall weight is low enough to keep the monster trucks from flipping.The steel body is heavier but that would make the center of the weight to be high,so the trucks would flip a whole lot easier..But that doesn't seem to work as u can see in the video.Anyway,that's the idea!!

i never understood why they made the body of the truck out of fiberglass, I'm sure that there is reason, i would seem to me that you leave the steel body on it for the weight...anyone know why they use fiberglass???
