www.ProGuitarShop.com - Welcome to the T-Rex Moller Overdrive pedal! If you're looking for a super versatile overdrive pedal, this is it. If you're looking for a super versatile overdrive pedal with a separate clean boost, this is it. That's right folks, unlike some other overdrive / boost pedals, the T-Rex Moller Overdrive allows you to use the clean boost by itself to push the input of your tube amp into crunchy bliss, or to boost your overdrive volume to beat out the loud ass bass player when you're soloing. Another great feature of the T-Rex Moller is the Mix knob which allows you to mix in some dry signal to keep the sparkle alive in your overdrive tone. The T-Rex Moller is fat! This little overdrive pedal definitely delivers the goods for overdrive. With just a little hair around the edges, the Moller gives classic tube screamer type tones with more clarity and definition than ever. The Voice switch allows the Moller to work just right with single coils and humbuckers alike, beefing up those thin sounding Strats and Teles to keep up with your Les Paul. Lastly, the clean boost is Clean! Super transparent as well, the T-Rex Moller gives you the best of both worlds, boost and overdrive, in one pedal.

you know, i dont really find much of a differnce with the pedals with preamp tubes as compared to these other beautique pedals. They clean up comparibly just as well and have almost matching tone.

Hey, im wondering which is better to be used as a good overdrive pedal with a fair bit of gain and a good clean boost to make single coils sound like humbuckersThe fulltone fulldrive 2 mosfet or this T-rex moller overdrive?

If you're looking for that Marshall sound you might want to look at the Lovepedal COT50-Gold. I play mainly Lesters & Leo's through a clean-sounding single-ended Class-A amplifier. The sound of the Lovepedal is HUGE (by the way, I also own a Marshall TSL-100), and is said to replicate the sound of a Marshall JMT-45 half-stack. If you're looking for pre-amp tubes in a pedal, check out one of Andy Fuchs' Plush pedals. As for the price of these pedals, you get what you pay for.

I don't want to be annoying or whatever (I've already asked this) but I'm super torn between the EHX English Muff'n and a more expensive boutique pedal. Another option is the OCD, and although it's "one of the greatest OD pedals of all time" I like the English Muff'n because it's got tubes and seems to get closer to the feel and sound of a Marshall Amp (I'm getting a fender amp and still want to be able to access that Marshall sound)

So, which would you pick, this one, the Mudhoney or the Barber Small Fry?

Great demo. But I was thrown off by the statement that when the overdrive is engaged, the level serves as a master volume. Does this mean that the boost volume is overriden (i.e. if on overdrive mode and one kicked in the boost, will it boost the overall output volume from the pedal)?

Money, it's a crime...man, too bad I can't afford this pedal yet!
