sorry mate. i got a ae86 with a 4agze and yea its awesome with the low down torque and goes crazy without the need to rev. but wen it comes to track racing the N/A 4age modded out is alot better and has an exellent response in corners.

On March 16th, Morning Japan Time...Mr. Sakurai of TRD Toyota Technocraft passed away.He was known recently as featured in Best Motoring Video "AE86 Club" as creator of Keiichi Tsuchiya's Street AE86 and N2 Battle TRD AE86. Was the 'hand of god" at making N2 AE86 designs in the 80's. Mr.Sakurai, Rest in Peace

The reason that the N2 Series existed is because they insisted on only N.A. 4AGE configuration. Not to mention, in Track Racing, N.A. response is much better than Supercharged engine. Not to mention torque band is much more linear hence easier/better handling in corner. Also, less weight and heat too!
