I hate Square Enix now, they need to go back to the old Final Fantasy... They keep changing the battle system and it is destroying the game to me. I used to always rush to buy the next Final Fantasy, but now... I just don't care about the new ones...

when i first played this game i died a little on the inside. FFX was amazing and is still one of my favorite games. and then this comes along and im like sweet. I start it and see this...to sum the gameplay up for FFX-2, you can win the game by holding down the X button. fun but sad.

I kind of liked it a little :] It wasn't anything amazing like the tenth game but it was still pretty fun to play :]

Yeah, Paine could be a good main character, but the executive producer didn't want to.it's another" Romeo and Juliette " type of story as usual. Two lovers in two different worlds.About the game system : it's probably too similar in the whole FF serie, but they're trying to change it.

The story was lame. They should have done more with Paine, since she was the only moderately original character in the game. I liked her. But this was lame. Going back to all the same places and fighting all the same monsters? And then having no real story? I agree that is was too girly, but not in a good way. I am a girl, but I didn't feel I could relate to these characters the same way I related to them in the first game. Beautiful art direction though. I'll give it that.

I actually liked the game. For one thing the battle system was quite fun (because they could all attack at once instead of waiting for their turn), and because of the fact that they brought back the "multiple jobs for more than one person" thing from FF2,FF3(the japanese numbers btw),FF5,FFT& FFTA (not sure about the rest, never played them :o).

This game was a disappointment, over-rated and having a girl as the main character is out-of-place. Overall, FF is a piece of shit.
