OK, so you have here a drop-dead georgeous young woman with the ability to put her thots together in real sentences who chose a military carreer, then blew away her right arm living on the edge! Wouldn't the world be somehow lessened without people like that? I wanna know wut she duz next man, she's still got most of a life to go!

They say very shortly a PC will have much more intelligence than a person's brain. Progress is being made interfacing live nerves with silicon chips. Prosthetic hearing and vision are in the works. So one day an individual's brain function could be downloaded into a harddrive which could take over the function of a dying brain. You could step around the corner and and encounter a living, breathing, fully functional HEAD AMPUTEE.

There now exists many bionic replacements for damaged ones, like bionic heart, I´ve read. But can this go someday to it that they can make human immortal or make you live 100 years more? I mean I dont know a shit about these but I mean you cant have desieses to parts of your body when they´re made from metal and electric and such right (+ nerves of course)? Haha its late here now and this sure sounds weird but what if :D

Or, rather, from electrochemical to electromechanical.

Sure it's the future - the transition from organic to silicon form of life. |
