I really can't speak for the UK, I'm American. But what you described is fascism and yes, I see it happening as well. I was speaking of the Christian fascists in my comment. I believe the whole "god nation" thing will never happen and that this man is just using the word "facism" as a buzz word to discredit the chritan agenda. Which I think is bad anyway but I like to be fair.

no, he doesnt over use it, I think its just that we dont want to compare our own nations as fascist, but its true. Look up Mussolini's definition of fascism, or what steps govts like nazi germany did, to gain control. Fake terror attacks, national ID cards, propoganda, police state, protesting is restricted along with free speech and privacy. I can't say its this bad in the US, but in the UK a large amount of us are seeing our govt as comparable to the nazi's.

You will get a true definition of fascism: the religion of the state, an ideal in which no aspect of human life is beyond legislative control. What BS. Democrats have more in common with fascism and Nazism than anyone on the right (except maybe Ron Paul).
