well, to be honest, I just barely began taking music as seriously as I do. It kind of sucks that I started so late. If I had seen stuff like this when I was a kid I would have begged my parents to get me a bass guitar. Anyway, I will look into primus and claypool. Thanks!

Steve Walsh with kansas played keyboards and in his heyday found a way to jump around with them. Including handstands on them. ;)

He wasnt that great, i garuntee that if he hadnt died so early people wouldnt rave about him so much. He was good... but not good enough to be at the top of the charts.

I remember watching this special a few months back they had with John Entwistle on On Demand in the music section. It was like his home videos with some guy asking John questions about bass playing. John was saying how, "This is a bass player" and plays normal bass, then he says "This is a bass guitarist" and plays the bass with distortion, similar to the one in this solo. It was interesting to watch.
