I own the 100th, tricked out and dragged since 03. I love it, it's been "ridden" and dragged for 5 years without a single issue except tire replacment, and the usuals. And with a 9k rpm rev. limiter on it, I love eating mustangs and other street weeenies when they are dumb enough to try...LOLPEACE

Yeah hey linchpin...Your 8-ball aint shit. A 2008 model 8-Ball has an air cooled motor with 1634cc's producing a whopping 85hp at the crank. A stock V-Rod has a water cooled 1130cc motor producing 120hp's at the crank. Translation- A V-Rod will run circles around a Victory 8-ball. Also, you said "Freeway riding they are crap." I took mine from Nashville, Tn to Alaska and back. I have 30K miles on mine most of which is on a freeway. How many miles have you put on a VROD? Miles on your 8-Ball?
