Bliss N Eso has been played on mainstream popular radio stations (the sea is rising). This is how i was exposed to them. Mind you that they receive close to none airtime compared to 'international' hiphop, but never the less many Australians respect this form of hiphop like myself in particular this band.

Been a big year for Australian Hip-Hop....if you look at playlists you will see that radio and TV have started to play more australian hiphop of late. It has also been reflected in the Aria charts, with multiple Australian releases in the Urban charts on any given week. Groups like Hilltop Hoods & Bliss N Eso are opening doors for the up & coming artists! Every achievement for each act is a leap forward for the whole scene.

unfortunately hop hop isnt that popular, most of my friends pay it out all the time, but i love it,I'd love to hear it on the radio, they only really play it on the smaller station and you wouldnt see it on Tv, its growing though, so maybe one day soon we will

This question goes out to anyone living in Australia, how big is Hip-Hop in Australia?Could I turn on the radio in Australia and hear some Hilltop, or Bliss n Eso,or Funkoars,or turn on the TV and see there videos?I been watchin Aussie Hip-Hop videos on youtube and it seems like they have pretty good production value, that's why I was asking.
