Not My Cup Of Tea The Music is Fantastic real Egyptian. The Dancers perform well BUT The dance & costumes look more like some Fantasy from the US

Not very good, actually, although the intentions are nice .... OK to look at, but not much is actually dance or dance movements belonging to the music....... takes itself too seriously for folk dance

Thanks Dancigirl and Margitno for your comment! This show is a tribute to traditionnal forms of egyptian dance , so we re-interpret saidi, ghawazee, baladi and zar dances , it depends on the choreographies ....For axample, images with continuous shimmy and a red veil is inspired by gestures and incredible energy of ghawazee dancers , but in the show the music comes from egypt/sudan, as it is a reinterpretationAlexia
