And never forget Leslie Stahl's description of Dan's stopping by her office just before airtime of the CBS Evening News in September, 1988 to tell her to kill her lead story of George Bush I's big lead over Dukakas in CBS's latest poll. Remember that Bush I had trailed by 19 points just after the Democrat convention. Surely this new poll was bad news to Dan and the Leftists at Black Rock.
