Im giving my opinion on the video just like the other 137,649 people who have viewed this page. JUST WATCH THE F***ING VIDEO YOU LOSER AND KEEP OUT OF THE ARGUMENTS.

wow , excellent response from fire crew

You were critisizing their actions, so as far as i'm concerned you were. And as for your uneducated opinion, keep those to yourself from now on aye. No need to share them if you aren't even going to take the time to check the story. The approach may have looked dodgy due to the camera angle, but it looked fine to me.

Exactly, spray fire retardant on it. You never know what may spark up, and ti is a precautionary measure. I know people in emergency services at several airports including YYZ, DFW, ORD, and EWR. I know from everything they have told me, that you always spray so retardant on the damaged side of the aircraft, just in case of a fuel leak. And I wouldn't be calling emergency services at any airport stupid, as them spraying precautionary foam on any crash-landed aircraft could save your life one day

oh ya spray fire retardent on it... just to make sure the invisible fire is out... stupid emergency services!

I dont care if the airport was notified or the press was, i was giving my opinion on the situation. I am not trying to cause an argument. My opinion suits me and i shall share that opinion if i wish. Any where in my last comment did i say they did a bad job? NO.
masterfalle2 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Seems like you don't know the full story.the right landing gear did not lock (common problem on the dash 8) the airport was notified and so was the press. don't critizice the pilots they did a hell of a good job and no one was hurt.
MaximumThrust1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
The pilot should of landed to the left side of the runway and they would of had more time on the runway. The pilot also should of used more left rudder on the approach.
