The hummers the military use are very different than the H2 and H3, for one they all roll on 37's from the factory and are actually quite maneuverable for such a big 4x4. The FJ is a good car, I have seen what it can do when i was doing the rubicon in a jeep and i passed saw in FJ going at it. It would not be a good military vehicle though...too hard to armor, not powerful enough, and not enough for a full crew and a machine gun turret on top.

Shame we cant get these FJ's in Oz yet Ide like to take one for a spin.Wonder if Toyata would pump out a true shorty like the old ones?

Much better for what? Not four wheeling, Hummers have a much harder time finding traction. Despite the fact the military uses them, they aren't worth their weight... |
