Freeze the keys in a bottle of water, then lace really tight and lock it up! Then it will be 'nice and comfy' for a while!

The night before you lace up, take an empty milk jug and fill it with water. Then put the lock keys on a piece of thread, lower them into the jug about halfway, and screw on the jug top to hold the thread. Then put it in the freezer. The next morning, lace up and lock. It will be a while before you can get the keys!
