i've been to memphis...i love the food, the people, the bbq, and i LOVE the blues...i'm a musician, and i know a thing or two about " blue-eyed soul "....but, i don't respect memphis...i disrespect rap, and the violence that most of it glorifies...i don't mind run-dmc, some nas, things like that...but this overly violent, " thuggin' in da streets, gettin' my hustle on, stealing nigga's women, slingin' da yay " shit is worthy of my disdain...so be sure on what you are calling me out on, " yo "...

I'm not even from Memphis, but I can't sit here and let it get disrespected like that. I love Memphis, and the people there. I'm from St. Louis, so I have love for all of the Interstate 55 Cities. Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, and going all the way down to Mississippi. Memphis has good people there, legendary blues music, great barbecue, and some of the greatest rappers of The South. Eightball and MJG are legends, and Jazze Pha is an incredible producer. Long live Memphis!
