Not really..."evil" exactly, but yeah. You have to take the music into consideration, though. It's not power metal at all.

Listen to the start again, you can clearly hear that it's the original riff. Only played on a Bas-guitar instead of an acustic guitar.

This might be a style of music that you aren't used to, but that doesn't make it just noise or "not music." In fact the members of this band are very talented. Not everyone has the same opinion of what good music is, and that's fine. But the mature thing to do would be to just say that this music isn't for you and move on.. It's common sense. If you don't like it, then don't listen to it.

I consider them progressive thrash. The vocals are the only thing remotely power metal about them, but even then it's just because of the general sound of his singing voice. His vocals are great by the way; he has a better voice and range than most power metal vocalists. |
