I watched this movie in school. This film seemed to be going on forever but in the end when all those crazy people die it gave me a BIIG satisfaction. Even the babys death didn't give me sadness. This is a special kind of film because in the first 2 minutes I was like wtf? no doors no nothing:)

merci, ça fait du bien de savoir qu'il y ait ce genre de réactions hyper positives. Beaucoup de gens ne comprennent pas les critiques. Ils ne sont pas habitués à celler ces problèmes. Ceci dû encore au conditionnement social... enfin voila quoi.:) c'est comme le film easy rider ou soleil vert.

:-) that I wanted to say was that actually this movie is not anti-american but it wants to show the world selfish. As we know people can't welcome foreigner... pfff there is a translation but if we can sometimes take more time to exchange about this subject, there is no problem.The last thing I would like to say is that I think that the action of Grace at the end seems to be anarchist in some way. This anarchism can't resolve the problem in the humanking....

We are all very selfish and make things under influence. Grace is a foreigner and we know that the most part of people have contempt as the foreigners. Perhaps because in the bottom of them they are miserable. What a pityFor the theatre, but it is completely this! We carry all masks to protect us let us tell ourselves ...:-)

C'est tres bien dit, pff55. Je suis d'accord avec vous, les citoyens de Dogville sont du mepris pour Grace, parce qu'elle soit un peu dangereuse (a quelque personnes, pas tout le monde bien sur). Et meme quand elle est tres faible et de bonne foi en toutes ses actions avec ses voisins, tout le groupe l'a blesse.
