Crass were depressing . At the time I bought Crass records over the Cockney Rejects & Exploited but now I realize the Rejects & Exploited were more honest & not middle class hippies trying to brainwash kids. Anyway I liked punk bands going on TOTP it ment that it was in yr front room at 12 with yr parents tut tuttering rather than some wanky Tony Parsons attitude "I was there in 1976 , you were not" sort of thing .
