the geat escape is my fav film.but it wasnt the same shot for the bike jump and crash,they switched from steve mc queen to another motorcycle rider called ekins to jump and crash it was on the dvd but still the best movie i have ever seen

Funny how it's a classic today, but back then, it barely broke even at the box office.

One of the greatest movies of all time.3 hour and jut flies in. And the end scene is brilliant. McQueen caught again sent to the cooler AGAIN and all you hear is the man and his baseball. Meaning you can catch me when I escape but I will never give up trying. Magic.
