When Sour Meets Sweet (JBS) Ch. 9

CHAPTER 9Chloe and Joe have been dating for a week now, and Chloe still hasn't really talked to Nick, Bess or Kevin. At the Jonas house sitting on the couch. Nick is strumming lightly on his guitar. Joe is sitting texting Chloe, as always. and Kevin is flipping through a magazine. Nick: So Joe, Bess, Kevin andI were talking, and we all decided that we wanted to give Chloe a chance. Ya know, if theres something you like about her, then maybe we will like her too.Joe: Well to be honest, I don't know what I like about her. I mean, if someone described her to me, I wouldn't date her in a million years, in fact, I wouldn't even want to be friends with her. So I dunno how much you guys will like her, but it means a lot that you guys want to give her a chance.Kevin: Yeah, so when do you wanna try this?Joe: Well we really don't plan to do a lot of things. We just go on walks, and chill at the mall and stuff. I'll ask if she wants to come over, and we can all talk, and watch a movie or something? Ya know, just a day of hangin out.Nick: Awesome. I'll be up in my room. Call me when she gets here.Joe: Awesome.Joe stands up and walks into the kitchen. He dials Chloe's number.Chloe: Hello?Joe: Hey! What's up?Chloe: Well I am a =ctually just updating your hate site mr.!Joe: Well doesn't that just sound like fun.Chloe: Haha, whats up?Joe: Well I don't really know, but the guys have a sudden interest to get to know you. Don't ask me why, I think Bess may have talked to them or something.Chloe: Huh. Well. Sure, I'm up for it. I think they may be dissapointed but... whatever.Joe: Haha they won't be dissapointed! What is there not to like?CHloe: Umm a lot of things.Joe: Well I love everything about you.Chloe: Haha thanks, so do you want me to come to your house?Joe: Yeah, just head on over.Chloe: Sweet, be there soon.----------------------------Chloe arrived at the JOnas house and rang the doorbell. Bess was already there, and everyone was in the livingroom talking. Joe opened the door. He gave Chloe a big huge and picked her up off her feet. Nick's thought-- He looks so happy with her. There must be something behind those clothes, and makeup, and bangs.Joe: Everyone, this is Chloe. Chloe this is Nick, Kevin, and Bess.Chlo smiled at all of them.Chloe: Hey, I have heard so much about all of you!Nick: Yeah, we have heard a loott about you too.Chloe: Haha yeah, Joe just likes to talk a lot huh?Bess: Ohh yeah. And it's nice to meet you.Chloe: Ohh and I'm sorry about at the concert... I probably went too far.Bess: It's fine.. I'm not exactly a emotional person like Kevin.Kevin gave Bess a deathstare.Bess: Haha, well its true.Kevin: So Chloe, hows the hate site goin!Joe: Kevin!Kevin: What? I was jut wondering...Joe gave Kevin a deatstare. [kevins gettin a lot of death stares!!]Chloe: Haha, its doing pretty good actually. a lot more people joining.kevin: Well that's just great.Bess nudged Kevin to stop.They all sat there and talked about random things for about an hour. By this time, Nick and Chloe had really hit it off, and they planned to hangout again soon. Bess thought Chloe was really nice, and super funny, and they got along very well. Kevin however continued to make rude comments, and Chloe definately got the picture that Kevin didn't want to be around her. Joe stood up form the couch.Joe: Well this has been a lot of fun. I'm really glad we did it. But can I just steal you away for a moment?He held his hand out to Chloe's.Chloe: I can't believe you just said that.She grabbed his hand, and stood up.Nick got up.Nick: Get used to it. He's a cheese ball.Chloe pushed Nick playfully, and gave him a hug.Chloe: It was awesome meeting you. We will definately hang out later.Nick: Yup. See you later.Chloe: See ya Bess! It was awesome getting to know you.Bess: You too!Chloe: See ya later Kevin.KEvin: Yeah, bye.Joe rolled his eyes at Kevin's rudeness and walked out the front door still holding Chloe's hand.Joe: Chloe, can I tell you something?Chloe: Of course.JOe: Okay, but I dont want you to be pressured to say anytyhing back. It's just how I feel.Chloe: Okay Joe, what is it?Chloe's stomach was in knots. What was he going to say? Was he going to break up with her? Did he like another girl? I never thought I would care this much about him..Joe: I think I'm in love with you. And I don't use that word lightly. I know it's so soon, but it's just what I feel. I've never felt this way about a girl before, especially this quickly in a relationship. And I just wanted you to know how I feel. You don't have to say anything back.Chloe was so relieved that he had said that. But her stomach was still in knots.
