Friedman is excellent. He conveys great emotion (even when totally intoxicated, like he seems to be in this video), is a master of timing, and has some very smooth picking. One of metal's greatest guitarists, I'd say.

Well, you gotta think, It honestly wouldn't be Megadeth without Dave. It wouldn't sound the same because,A, the singing would be wierd and ,B, the guitsr playing would sound different. Plus, Dave writes almost EVERYTHING. Even the solos. So, in my piont of view, Dave Mustiane really is Megadeth. Plus he formed it, so he can say whatever he wants about it.

true, but dave wrote the songs, they just did the solos. but dave quotes 'i am megadeth' thats kinda bullshit..
