I cried when I first heard this version. I got it the day before I moved away from my friends and it still holds a spot with me inside.The album came out in 97, but when did the video get made? And was it before or after she had cancer if it was the same year? I'm guessing before.

Beautiful song, unfortunately too often moaned and turned into a dirge. Carly does it absolute justice and for me this is the definitive version. Exactly the right tempo, and Carly's lovely voice delivers the best interpretation I've ever heard (including Ella's). Carly is great to watch, too, although I don't think the vid is in keeping with the mood - but that doesn't matter, I only need to close my eyes, turn up the volume and let the beauty of music,lyric and voice wash over me.
