Gundams ended up the way they did because the guy that created the original gundam was forced by tv execs to make things more super robot-ish. His original vision involved a smaller, gray colored robot.

Who said it has to be Gundams?Look at Full Metal Panic Arm Slaves or Gasaraki's Tactical Armors, they are far more realis and almost half the size of a Gundam(12 Metres) in height.

It's not like Gundams would actually work in real life; and if they somehow did, they wouldn't be particularly useful compared to other weapons. Real types only TRY to be realistic, but they're not even close.

...what does that have to do with my post? I'm not bashing super robot shows or anything (in fact I love them), I just said they're unrealistic.Also, I thought Tetsujin 28/Gigantor was the first giant robot anime. |
