I thought I would join the army, so I have been emailing the army, and they email back. I just thought, well, my dad says to consider the marines, I guess Ill look into it a little, so I emailed them, but I didnt get an email back. I waited 5 days, got a little ticked, and just thought, they cant even write back, forget it. then, the next day, I recieved and ENTIRE info pack in the mail!! it impressed me, my dads stories, that, this commercial. yeah, Im joinin the marines. semper fi do or die

thanks to the men and woman out there in the front line is why we are sleeping safe and warm in our bed... if u see them passing by salute them they deserve it... i'm proud to say i'm joining the ROTC army or air force SEMPER FI them...

the Naval academy is very competitive. if you are accepted I say do it. the Marine option is a choice you make in the third year summer i believe. becoming an officer is a huge task and responsibility. keep that in mind and weigh your options and make a decision of what you want in military future career or tour?

Not really. Naval Academies usually have a Marine option, where you can go to the Marines as a Marine officer instead of the Navy as a Naval Officer.I'm a Poole going to the Marines right after High School, but I guess it is up to you; Officer or Enlisted.

im hell bent on being a marine i want to join right out of highschool but my mother and father want me to go to the naval academy in annapolis honestly i dont think i have the grades for it and i want to be a marine and only a marine i would have to be in the navy to go there and then switch any advice from someone who joined out of highschool?
