i build my first adapter about 6 years ago. yesterday i build two of them for about...0€. you can see some test footage on my channel...my cameras are pretty old though.

Here's a thought; Shoot your film at 15 frames per second. Or, just capture at 15fps after shooting at 60i. Lonely Girl was shot at 15fps, and it was believable as a film. It fooled a lot of people. 24fps is too finicky in the conversion from 30fps, so just halve it- 15fps is PERFECTLY FINE for telling a story. I've made 3 films that way, and a lot of 24p footage on Youtube ends up getting converted to 15fps for the web anyway. See also: Truth @ 15 Frames Per Second. Another good example...

It's not really the adapter but the lens. It looks like they used a Lensbabie lens with the crazy focus. |
