A song written by Bill Farley, published by me. Everything Goes is a Boogie Rockabilly piano vocal. It's a Friday Evenin' Things are kinda dullI got a pretty good buzz goin' through my skullA buddy of mine he feels the same way,And when we're both feelin' good,You Hear everybody say,Lock the door keep the children close,Tonight's the night everything goes,We start off down at Billy's Place to play some shuffleboard,There's a new girl at the bar,And ten drunks on the floor,A shuffleboard puck hits my buddy in the head,And when he gets up off the floor,You know what that fool said?He said "That last drink hit me hard.I think I'll have one more."Tonight's the night everything goes,Then we go down to the frat bar,To window shop awhile,They are hangin' from the ceiling,They are dancin' in the aisle,The girls in here are lookin' good,But don't expect too much,Because across their face is written,"You can look but please don't touch."When we were young we had some fun,But we all wore our clothes,But tonight's the night everything goes,Repeat "It's a Friday evenin'..."We pack into the Chevy when things start gettin' heavy,We flip the top back recline the seat to relax,Along comes a girl walkin' all alone,Wants a dime to call her momma on a public telephone,Then she takes us to a motel,Where she tells us she's a pro,And tonight's the night everything goes,Then we go down to the river,To watch the water run,You can see the barges floatin' in the Early mornin' sun,Reflectin' on the music, the women and the wine,My ears are achin' and my feet are steady keepin' time,But I gotta get home early cause everybody knows,Tonights another night when everything goes,CHORUS AGAINSchmerdley Music, BMI Publisher, Bill Farley, Writer

One very last question, What kind of album did You produce in 1990 and is it possible to get it or hear it somewhere?,Thanks again

Ive found Farca Toure along with Leadbelly and Crudup here in You Tube. But there could be more Muddy Waters. I regret selling my guitar.. I think I will buy new. I also have a piano at home, my sister doesnt play it any more. Maybe I will use some of your tips to learn. And I will shut up for a while, I already wrote too much hehe,Maybe when I learn to play something I will share it with You on You Tube. Take care Tom

I also checked bluegrass in Poland but I couldnt find anything. Despite Dzem and Tadeusz Nalepa whose records, most of them are a bit pop like than original blues, I dont know any but Im sure that if I search better, I shall find something as well. There is an interesting root of blues music in Mali. One of the most popular Mali musicians is Ali Farka Toure. I know he recorded with some american musicians mainly John Lee Hooker. He plays some interesting acoustic pieces himself Do You know him?

Im not very keen on blues. Im just starting to broad my interest in this matter. I checked 100 Folk on U Tube. I dont know if it was intentional of You but Hungarians have been considered Poles best friends for centuries. I wonder which of their pieces did You use? I also read basic info about bluegrass. I think that whats interesting about blues is that it seems to be an element of american culture that represents one of its most curious aspects which to me is variety of influences.

Are you familiar with 100 Folk Celcius? They are a great Hungarian bluegrass band. I had the pleasure of using two of their songs for an album I produced about 1990.

Thanks, I will check the names given. College station might be a good idea. I will check Delta Blues as well. In previously mentioned radio blues program I recall some guy saying how he got blues records during communism. He went to american embassy he asked for blues music and they sent him some for free. But getting to American embassy those days was possible only due to his special contacts otherwise authorities could arrest the guy even for listening to it. Now we have U Tube! Thanks again!

Hi, thanks. I would recommend artists such as John Lee Hooker and Ledbelly ( Huddy Ledbetter ) and Arthur Cruddup. Unfortunately most US radio stations are now satellite feeds meaning they play from some list programmed by a ratings organization. There might be some college station that still programs early Blues music. The best source I know of is YouTube where there are so many of the old recordings still available. I don't play banjo. Search Delta Blues.

Im also fan of Your videos. You are doing great job!!American music, all kinds of american folk music, including blues beats everything else I know. And You are performing it very well. Ive got two questions, What do You know of so called "Hobo blues" and do You know any performers? I once heard it on the radio, Jesus how great it was!!, but I had no chance to write down the names. And maybe You can point some american radio station where I can hear such music? Can You play banjo as well?
