haha yeah sadly, it's a starcaster. you know i'm not sure if it is or not, i haven't had much time to check but i'm going to as soon as i get the chance.. i'll try what guschamber suggested first just for the hell of it ;) if not i'll open it up and have a look if it needs some soldering then i'll borrow my dad's equipment.

yea, i guess tuning lower gives you a bit deeper, thicker sound. you should also try adding in a little bass on the amp.

yeah, its on Drop D, should I go lower though? i want like that really "thick" sound... but that probably is just a different type of pickup that i'll need to upgrade rather then just downtune some more, right?

oh dude that suuuuucks. which one did you have? Starcaster? is it just a wiring problem? like just a simple soddering thing or soemthing?

the first three arpeggios sound like hes gona start a CoB song which makes sense considering thats what alexi uses but anyway thanks great lesson i thought id never get arppegios but this is simple

you could get heavier strings and keep the guitar in a lower tuning, it would balance out and you wouldnt need to re set up the truss rod |
