And you thought our ambulance service was bad.... this porpoise was left stranded after being hooked by a fisherman on Caistor Beach nr Great Yarmouth. Sea Life, the local seal sanctuary and the RSPCA were all called by upset beach goers but one hour later and with no sign of help it was left to a few tourists led by a heroic Chelsea fan (Nick) to do the right thing and carry the beached porpoise back out to deeper waters. The RSPCA did finally show up and monitored the porpoises progress just off shore for an hour or so until all looked to be well. Well done everyone!!!
