2000 Lexus GS Ball Joints 80k miles

If you have a 98-00 Lexus GS and are still running with the stock front lower ball joints, get them replaced with the revised version. They are notorious for failing when neglected and causing minor to major $$$. There should be NO PLAY by hand whatsoever.

Very important issue for those particular year gs- make sure to check balljoints guys...I have seen some crazy stuff

Also it should only take 20-40 mins a side with the right tools.

If that is just the balljoints, that IS pretty steep.It's a DIY job if you are handy with tools, and the parts are about $60 a side.Are they doing ANYTHING else?

like the tail lights and other minor redesigns, 2001-2005 have the redesigned ball joints.
