Well, the Tundra was stupidly designed with TripleTech frame. To be honest, Japanese 4x4 vehicles Nissan Patrol, Toyota Land Cruiser, & Mitsubishi Pajero; & British Land Rovers have been using fully boxed frames long before Ford. In fact, Nissan Titan started the fully boxed frame of all fullsize pickups, & Ford was only inspired.Why did the Patrol, Land Cruiser, Pajero, & Land Rovers become legends? Fully boxed offroad frame, proper transfer case rations, diff. locks, etc.
