true but the history channel ranked the T34 above all the german tanks but German vets will tell you stories bout blowing them up all day. competition is one thing but when gunnery and tactics. PLUS a better tank.. bye bye ruskie

I remeber there was a competition where the T90 was slightly better then the A4 but the newer A6 won against the T90.

true. I was misinformed about the chassis. but the two tanks do have a common ancestor that was a joint german/american project. didn't work out but I think we got some kickass tanks out of the deal. I know it's wrong to wish for war. as a former Marine I would love to see the Leopard 2 up against T90's My money is on the Germans

Not really. Only the gun is german.The germans settled omn the Leo 2 since the beginning. Why should you replace a multi fuel engine tank with a fuel sucking ga turbine?!

guys guys during the cold war the M1A1 was a joint german american project and then they parted ways later. yes the top chassis of the M1a1 including the gun is all made in germany, up until the mid 90's I believe when the US starting building them ourselves

they have even sold a version of the m1a2 too the turks, but with the german MTU 883 engine!! LOL
