you are JOKING aren't you? or have you missed the point about this song...this is about the pleasure/pain of solitude and retrospective emotion...it is about the cruel rejection bowie felt in 1976...from america, england and, ultimately, his fan base and his record company.all down to his decision to 'come out' in 72, even though he had NO idea that he would ever be hugely famous and that SEXUALITY was the only quesion on the lips of braindead reporters in usa or england...so to berlin

I'm a great Bowie-fan, so I'm always sceptic about cover-versions, but this definatly works! Very good job from Franz Ferdinand! Respect!

Ha, I read that Bowie is a bif FF fan and then "Michael" gave me a "John, I'm only dancing vibe"=) That's how I got into FF - Bowie still inspires me.
