Then what is the life at the stage of death made up of?

If I understand correctly, transient living- the life that we lead is a process full of pain and futility etc., and once a person dies, when the process is over-only then does he become that which he is- an absolute-a life removed from any dynamic change or a life whose content is dependant on a series of constant little deaths. When one is dead-or as said by J.K.- emptied of conscioussness- only then does he have true being- absolute and independent from all those things that make up life?

"Death becomes a living, when the content of consciousness... comes to an end."
