I agree, Kanazawa Sensei is the living Kancho of Shotokan, and deserves all honor and respect, but you are forgeting Kase Kancho in your list, he developed a whole new approach to karate do, specially with his hente waza techniques *bow*

Im a Yellow belt and i am learining this shotokan kata i think this is one of the best kata in heian katas !! Kanazawa is amazing

My dear friends.Please understand that Kancho Kanazawa along with Funokoshi Sensei and Nakayama sensei are the greatest Shotokan Karate Instructors that have lived.Which Kancho Kanazawa is the living kancho of Shotokan Karate.Kanazawa Kancho has taken karatedo to another level.He continued what his teacher Nakiyama sensei started.He is a remarkable human being.
