I use the S100 white chain lube...AWESOME stuff. even after arround 400km it still LOOKS clean =) and ya I agree with you guys...lube the inner parts of the chain. but only with a THIN layer of lube. don't over-lube it. It will just simply fly off and you have a shitload of cleaning to do ;)

I agree. Spray on the inside. That's where the chain and sproket will make contact. Lubing the outside is pointless, it will cause a mess, and just contribute to more dirt getting stuck to the chain.

I would suggest lubing the inside surfaces of the chain instead of the outside so when the chain spins the lube gets forced into the parts your are trying to protect instead of being flung off the outer surface.
