um, well, trying out different angles gives you an idea of which one would look sicker for an edit or a video they are making.i'm a filmer myself, and i'm in the learning process, and i've heard from many good filmers around here that trying out different angles, and warming up to the spot with easy tricks from the skaters, is a good idea to do.

i dont record professionally or anything, but my friends and i a lot and we usually do a couple easy tricks off a ledge or something, then you can have the angle perfect for the real trick. i doubt the pros do this because there so good they probably already know, but w/e

everyone has there own opinions thats cool,i like rodney mullen but I find some of his stuff gets really boring after awhile.
